Kronplatz / Plan de Corones

The Kronplatz area (known in Italian as Plan de Corones) is part of Val Pusteria and it includes 14 main towns: Brunico, San Vigilio di Marebbe, Valdaora, San Lorenzo di Sebato, Chienes, Falzes, Rasun in Valle d’Anterselva, Terento, Monguelfo, Tesido, Anterselva, Valle di Casies, Gais, Villa Ottone and San Martino in Badia.

In winter, Kronplatz is the ideal place for winter sports: you will find many ski slopes, ski lifts, activities and sports suitable to each level of expertise and to both adults and children. Cross-country skiing, biathlon, curling, sledging or skating: Kronplatz is an ideal place for all these activities.

In summer, the Kronplatz mountain is the perfect destination for hiking: when you reach the peak at 2275 meters above sea level you can enjoy a breathtaking view from the Marmolada to the Val Venosta Alps and the Dolomites. If you want to practice some other sports other than hiking, in this holiday region you can play volleyball, football, you can go climbing or play golf.
